PIR MOTION DETECTOR WITH EMERGENCY LIGHTING FEATURE 
AQUA Luna is a digital passive infrared detector provided with a dualelement PIR sensor and digital motion detection algorithm. Owing tothe two–track analysis of the signal from the PIR sensor (valuable andquantitative) and the function of temperature compensation, thedevice is characterized by reliable operation in a wide ambienttemperature range, high sensitivity and high interference immunity.
Interchangeable Fresnel lens and three–step sensitivity control makeit possible to adjust the device performance to requirements of theuser and the protected premises. The detector has built–in pre–alarmfunction and tamper switch. 
The main task of the detector is to detect violations in the protectedarea. However, it can also be used to implement the buildingautomation functions. When the alarm system is not armed, thedetector can control turning on the lights, opening or closing thedoors, etc. Additionally, the AQUA Luna model comes with a set ofwhite LEDs that serve as lighting for the supervised area. This featureis extremely useful e.g. in the event of mains power failure. When thelights go out, the detector – which is powered from the control panelbattery – can illuminate the monitored premises. The detector lightingfunction is remotely controlled.
